This is the wish of the mayor of Naples, Gaetano Manfredi, in a video message addressed to Neapolitans for the Christmas holidays. In the message, the mayor recalls the many events organized by the municipal administration for the New Year, whose celebrations will begin on December 29th and end on January 1st.
“We will have – says – four days of celebrations, concerts, socializing. I hope that in our city illuminated by Christmas trees, lights and our Neapolitan nativity scene in Piazza Municipio there will be lots of celebration, joy and solidarity”. Manfredi addresses a special thought “to the most fragile people, to those who are suffering at this moment, to those who with their work help us spend these moments of greatest joy.
Solidarity is the foundation of our city and we must ensure that everyone can have their own moment of celebration, of joy and for this we will work and are all working together".
A New Year's Appeal to Young People
Finally, a wish for the new year: “A wish to Naples for the new year that allows everyone to realize their dreams, especially our kids, those who are building their life perspective. We are giving it our all and we are doing it together with the many who love our city. Once again, from me, with all my heart, best wishes for a peaceful Christmas and for a year of joy, work, health and serenity with your loved ones and family”.
