Demand is high, with a consumption of two and a half million bags of coffee. However, Semakula, CEO of MDL Società Benefit, raises an alarm to Adnkronos, emphasizing the lack of culture surrounding coffee: “In Italy, 95 million cups of coffee are consumed per day, but the culture behind the cup is missing. The consumer does not know the value of the product in his hands”.

Semakula’s proposal focuses on the price of coffee, raising a provocation: “The right price for a coffee? Up to two euros and fifty cents.”
