Yesterday afternoon, a news story shook the quiet town of Atripalda, in the province of AvellinoA betting center located on the central Via Gramsci was the scene of a robbery, orchestrated with determination by an armed individual.
The robber, his face hidden by a hood, entered the business without any customers present at the time of the crime. Pointing a gun at an employee, he demanded that he hand over all the money available in the betting center's cash registers. After obtaining the loot, the amount of which is still being quantified, the man quickly disappeared.
The robber's accomplice, a second individual was waiting for him outside the premises in a car ready to leave. The two quickly left the scene of the crime. The Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Avellino immediately began investigations to identify the perpetrators and recover the stolen money.
