Burglary in Fuorigrotta: Gang of Robbers Robbs a Hair Salon
A new crime spree has rocked Fuorigrotta, where a hair salon on Viale Augusto was attacked by a gang of serial thieves. The criminals forced open a security door and, once inside, stole various equipment, causing extensive damage.
The owner of the salon expressed her outrage on social media, pointing out that the same gang had also hit other businesses, including one in Portici. "The videos of the thefts show a red Giulietta, the same one used in our robbery. Yet, the authorities say they can't intervene because the faces aren't visible in the videos.", she declared indignantly.
Doubts about the security of the armored door
Another critical point highlighted by the owner concerns the shop's armored door. "We paid around €5.000 for it, guaranteed to have a security level of 5, yet the thieves broke into it in just a few minutes. This raises some doubts about the actual effectiveness of this protection system," she publicly stated.
The Appeal on Social Media
In the video posted on TikTok, the owner made a heartfelt appeal to the community of business owners and residents: "We can no longer suffer these crimes with impunity. Naples deserves safety, honest work must be protected, and those who make mistakes must pay."
Regional councilor Francesco Emilio Borrelli also spoke out on the matter: “These are very serious accusations that must be verified without any doubt. Complicity, sloppy work, human error? To remove any doubt, the complaint and the company's actions must be verified. The issue of thefts and robberies also remains.
Too many crimes committed on the territory against citizens, entrepreneurs and traders and hearing that the Authorities can do nothing is displeasing. If they increased the number of officers and did more prevention, at least 50% of the problem would be solved.”

This theft episode is very worrying and makes us reflect on the security in our city. It is incredible that despite the security measures, thieves can enter so easily. The authorities should do more.
