Article Key Points
A Historical Heritage to Tell
The State Archives of Naples, an impressive repository of history founded in 1808, preserves kilometers of documents dating back to the XNUMXth century. Historical female figures, often forgotten, emerge through a collage of archival materials and reinterpretations. Profound stories such as that of Linda, who decided to abort during the Second World War, and Emma, a worker persecuted by fascist laws, are reborn thanks to the careful work of archivists. In the hands of these experts, documents come to life, bringing to light the voices of women who have lived in silence.
A Journey Through Summerse Memories
According to the director, the film unfolds as “a poetic journey of suggestions, emotions and linguistic interweavings”. Through this documentary gaze, the stories hidden in the folders become a flow between past and present, revealing the emotions of voiceless women. Ladoc, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Siae, produced the project, which also benefits from the support of the Campania Region Film Commission and the patronage of the State Archives of Naples. To participate, tickets are available at 5 euros or 4 euros for Arci members.
The AstraDoc initiative is supported by Parallelo 41 Produzioni, Coinor and the University of Naples Federico II, with the patronage of the Municipality of Naples, and continues to offer details on the social media of AstraDoc and Arci Movie.

The event in Naples seems interesting but I don't know if I'll go. I read that there are many stories of women in the film, this is positive. I hope people will attend to see these stories, important for the story.
