Naples – Since the first light of day, a major operation by the Carabinieri of the Anti-Adulteration and Health Unit has been underway in the provinces of Naples and Salerno.
Approximately 300 soldiers are engaged in the execution of an order implementing precautionary measures, issued by the Judge for Preliminary Investigations of the Court of Naples at the request of the Neapolitan Public Prosecutor's Office.
The measure affects 70 suspects, considered to be seriously suspected of serious crimes: criminal association aimed at ideological and material falsification, corruption and aggravated scam against the National Health Service.
The operation, which resulted from a complex investigation coordinated by the Naples Public Prosecutor's Office, represents a severe blow to an alleged criminal network operating in the healthcare sector.
