The number of evacuation orders issued in the Campi Flegrei area due to bradyseism rises to 34.
The measures, which involve 161 families, have so far affected 382 people. Of these, 50 have been hosted in hotels, while the rest have found independent accommodation. A further eviction, involving four people, was carried out in the evening in Bacoli.
The data emerged during the last meeting of the Rescue Coordination Center, convened by the prefect of Naples, Michele di Bari, in collaboration with the Department of Civil Protection.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the municipalities of Naples, Pozzuoli and Bacoli, the regional Civil Protection, the health component, the Fire Brigade and the Vesuvius Observatory.
The Fire Department has strengthened its mobile column teams, sending personnel from other regions to carry out post-earthquake inspections and to help evacuated families recover their belongings. Rescue teams and expert reconnaissance modules have so far carried out 1157 interventions, of which 828 have been completed and 329 are pending.
The municipalities have decided to keep the waiting and reception areas active, despite the drop in the number of people hosted during the night. In particular, the reception center on Via Acate in Bagnoli hosted 18 people, the Palatrincone in Monterusciello 29 and the Viale Olimpico in Bacoli 7.
The health support device for the reception areas remains active, with first aid stations operating 24 hours a day both in Via Acate and at Palatrincone. CO24 measurements in school buildings also continue, with the mayors and technicians of the Metropolitan City engaged in the acquisition of sensors to be installed in schools.
