Spring officially begins today

The Botanical Garden of Naples is a 12-hectare green oasis in the heart of the city, offering visitors a wide variety of centuries-old trees, rare plants and spectacular flowers. With spring on the way, this is the ideal place to immerse yourself in nature and breathe clean air.

Two gastronomic tributes to celebrate spring

Two local artisans of taste have decided to celebrate the Botanical Garden, on the occasion of March 21, with culinary creations inspired by spring blooms. Mario Di Costanzo, renowned pastry chef of Pâtisserie Di Costanzo, presents “La vie en rose”: a cake with strawberries, champagne and rose water. Nearby, master pizza chef Mauro Espedito of Pizzeria OWap has created “Botanic Vibe,” a unique pizza with edible flowers, toasted chili pepper, fior di latte, eggplant, zucchini, feta and kalamata olives.

A floral touch for customers

To involve customers in the celebration, Espedito invites you to wear floral-themed clothing, offering a flower-themed pin badge to those who don't have one. This initiative enriches the spring experience at the Garden, combining taste and nature in an exclusive event for citizens and visitors.

  1. The Botanical Garden is a nice place, but I don't know if I'd go there to eat pizza with flowers. It seems strange to put flowers on pizza, but maybe it's good. The cake looks good, but I don't like strawberries.
