THEInter exits from Maradona with a precious draw, but with some regrets: after the 1-1 against Napoli, the Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi he analyzed the race to the microphones of DAZN, underlining the difficulties encountered in the recovery and the value of the opponent.
“It was a difficult match, in the first half there was balance, but in the second half we had some problems. Napoli improved a lot and we had to raise ourselves more, but we were facing a strong team that was fresher than us. In the 87th minute, however, we had to be better on that occasion”, said the Nerazzurri coach, referring to the action that led to Billing's goal.
Despite the disappointment of the equaliser conceded at the end, Inzaghi defended his team's performance: “I have exceptional guys, they gave everything they had. Let's move forward, the championship is very balanced”. The coach then underlined the importance of being impeccable in direct clashes: “You have to be perfect, we weren’t. We shouldn’t have allowed Lobotka to enter the area like that. The substitutions? Entering these games is never easy, but the guys tried to help each other.”
“Napoli had more energy in the second half.” Finally, a word on tactical choices: “I had thought of fielding a 4-4-2, but against Spinazzola and Politano I decided to cover the width. We had to adapt with Dumfries on the left and Pavard on the right, also due to the soreness of Marco's".

The game was difficult and there were moments of confusion. Inzaghi did his best, but perhaps we should have changed more quickly. Napoli was fresher and we were a bit tired.
I don't agree with Inzaghi's decision not to change some players earlier. The opponents were very active and we needed fresh forces to counter them.
