“Lacrimarum Valley” focuses on exploring the dark dynamics of the human condition through a scenic minimalism and the use of shadows, to bring out the various interpretations of literary hell. The show will offer an overview that goes from the nightmares described by Dante to the atmosphere of silence of Beckett, inviting the audience to a reflection on the struggle between life and death, taking inspiration from current contemporary anxieties.
Reflections on Evil and Modern Society
By encouraging the audience to directly confront evil and modern social structures, “Lacrimarum Valley” prompts a reflection on individualism within today’s society. Against the backdrop of a time marked by pandemics and global tensions, themes such as the need to free oneself from unwanted digital relationships are explored. The director analyzes the essence of evil in correlation with contemporary society.
A Theatrical Experience of Reflection
“Lacrimarum Valley” aims to transform the theatre into a space of introspection, leading the audience on an inner journey through the various dimensions of hell, without providing easy answers but raising questions about the complexity of human existence in the current fragmented context.

This show looks interesting and could give a new perspective on evil and society, but I wonder if the approach is too complex for the general public. I look forward to seeing how it is realized on stage.
