NAPLES – Two men aged 28 and 44 were arrested for robbery by officers from the Office of General Prevention and Public Aid: the operation began in Corso Umberto I, where the police officers, during a territorial control operation, were stopped by a person who reported having been attacked and robbed.
The victim said that she was approached by the two criminals, who, after kicking and punching her, stole her cell phone before fleeing through the alleys of the historic center in the direction of Porta Nolana.
The officers immediately started chasing them and, not without difficulty, managed to block the two fugitives, arresting them. The episode is part of the territorial control operations aimed at combating predatory crimes in the heart of the city.

I read that two men were arrested for robbery, but I wonder if the security measures are effective. Unfortunately, crime is a serious problem and people are afraid to go out on the streets.
