Investigations continue into the tragic death of the student from Grosseto, who died during a school trip aboard a ferry between Naples and Palermo: the Port Authority is interviewing the young woman's teachers and classmates in Palermo to reconstruct the last moments before her fatal illness.

During the checks, the investigators seized some of the girl's personal effects, including her cell phone, to analyze their contents and clarify any elements useful to the investigation. Some medications were also seized, but they were exclusively commonly used medicines, such as aspirin and anti-inflammatories, usually carried by travelers.

To shed light on the causes of death, a toxicological test was ordered on the student's body, considered by investigators to be a necessary action. In the meantime, the grief over the young girl's disappearance continues to shake her school community and the city of Grosseto.
