Naples – During the night between Saturday and Sunday, officers from the Vomero Police Station intervened in Piazza Vanvitelli following a report of a fight.
The alarm, which reached the Operations Room, led the police to quickly reach the scene of the incident, where it emerged that shortly before a violent fight had occurred between young people, which had broken out for trivial reasons.
According to initial reconstructions, the fight took place outside a commercial establishment, between Piazza Vanvitelli and via Bernini. During the fight, two boys suffered injuries, so much so that they had to go to the emergency room of the Cardarelli Hospital to receive the necessary treatment.
Thanks to a timely investigation, supported by the testimonies of those present and the images captured by the video surveillance systems in the area, the officers identified three young people believed to be responsible for the brawl.
They are Neapolitans between the ages of 18 and 19, already reported to the Judicial Authority for the crime of brawling. Among them are also the two injured, who reported their companions after having undergone medical treatment.
The episode puts the spotlight back on youth violence, often linked to nighttime gatherings, and confirms the importance of law enforcement monitoring the territory to ensure the safety of citizens.
