The hunt is on for the accomplices of the young Camorrista Alessio Peluso, 28 years old, one of the veterans of the infamous Lo Russo clan of Miano, who the other day was the protagonist of Wild West scenes in the Frosinone prison where he was being held.
Now it has been transferred in another penitentiary but in the meantime the investigators who thanks to the video surveillance footage of the prison have seen how the gun with which Peluso first threatened a prison officer and then opened fire on some inmates who had beaten him a few days earlier.
Investigators are looking for who sent him the gun (a 7,65 caliber with a cancelled serial number) who used the drone but also who "closed their eyes" from prison. That is, who did not see the images of the incoming drone but also who brought the handset into the penitentiary through which Alessio Peluso said o' nir (sentenced in recent months to 10 years and 8 months in prison for Camorra association and drug trafficking) first ordered the gun and then after the shooting he spoke to his lawyer who advised him to surrender.

The cameras of the Frosinone prison captured the scene: the drone that lowers and places a gun on the cell window of the prisoner from Campania. The man, on Sunday afternoon, fired five shots at three inmates who were in their cells and by whom the 28-year-old had allegedly been beaten in recent days. No one was injured, it is still unclear whether the intention was an intimidating and therefore demonstrative gesture or whether it was a fortuitous event if the three inmates were unharmed.
Separated from the rest of the prison population for disciplinary reasons, according to the reconstruction provided by the Lazio prison superintendent Carmelo Cantone, the prisoner was waiting for the drone that gave him the gun with the serial number erased. Once he took the gun from his window he asked to go to the shower area, but in the corridor he pointed the gun at a prison officer and tore the cell keys from his belt and then “he shot in every room where there were other inmates” who he said had beaten him. Cantone confirmed that the prisoner was also in possession of a cell phone, but it is still unclear how he managed to obtain it.
After what happened, Alessio Peluso was immediately transferred to another institute, while the Minister of Justice Martha Cartabia he wanted an extraordinary meeting with the head of the Dap to take place today in the Frosinone prison Bernardo Petralia and the general managers of Personnel Max Perisi and the Detainees Gianfranco De Gesu.
“The problem of drones is very present at the Dap”, Petralia said at the end of his inspection, speaking of “weekly incursions” in the Frosinone prison, certainly not the only one to be affected by this phenomenon. “Everything that can be done, in terms of the use of personnel and resources, we will do starting tomorrow,” he added, explaining that a counter-attack device has already been tested in a penitentiary in the south and that a special study group has been charged with carrying out the "a careful survey of all the technological systems that can overcome this problem. We will check what the market offers, we know that it is possible to adopt technologically advanced systems. The minister is perfectly aware of all this, there is a direct continuous line and everyone is committed to finding and investing all the necessary resources. It is now a matter of evaluating the costs and starting the administrative purchasing procedures".
The unions are on the warpath. “Let's take the new alarm bell and intervene firmly to re-establish state control of the prison” asks the general secretary of the S.PP. Aldo DiGiacomo. “We believe that it is necessary to set up a real crisis unit, perhaps under the aegis of Palazzo Chigi”, increases Gennarino De Fazio, Secretary of Uilpa Polizia For the Fp Cgil Nazionale it is needed “an organizational reform that is accompanied by significant investments in hiring staff, making structures safe, and purchasing technological equipment and tools”.
"The Frosinone affair will also be addressed by the parliamentary Anti-Mafia commission "with the specific committee that deals with 41bis and High Security", M5S commissioners announced.
