Saint Cyprian of Aversa. Two of the members of the group of young people believed to be responsible for the massacre at the Lanterna Azzurra nightclub in Corinaldo are now the recipients, together with two other people, of a precautionary custody order issued by the investigating judge of the Bologna court, at the request of the DDA, in light of the hypotheses of crime, to varying degrees, of personal injury, illegal possession of weapons and ammunition, receiving stolen goods, possession for the purpose of dealing of narcotics and private violence, all with the aggravating circumstance of crimes connected to mafia activities.
Among the recipients of the precautionary measures (3 in prison and one under house arrest) is the twenty-year-old from Castelfranco Emilia (Modena) Ugo Di Puorto, son of the San Cipriano boss Sigismondo Di Puorto, the latter considered regent of the Casalesi clan in the province of Modena linked to the Schiavone family. Ugo Di Puorto is also a central figure in the group that allegedly caused the massacre at the Lanterna Azzurra.
The investigations of the Carabinieri of the investigative unit of Ancona and Modena led to the new precautionary measures, born precisely from an excerpt of the file on Corinaldo. The military discovered that some subjects involved in the investigation on Corinaldo were in possession of weapons, subsequently the Carabinieri of Modena arrested a man always linked to the group because he was found in possession of 230 grams of cocaine and two stolen pistols.
In this context it also emerged that Ugo Di Puorto, after having had an argument over trivial matters with another young man from Castelfranco Emilia, had beaten him up, and then asked the other recipients of the precautionary measures, available to the clan, to provide him with a weapon to use to resolve the dispute.
