At the Teatro Sala Molière in Pozzuoli, 'Io che amo solo te – monogamia familiare'. The show is written by Gianluca Cangiano and directed by Niko Mucci.
On Saturday 22nd (at 21,00 pm) and Sunday 23rd October (at 19,00 pm) at the Teatro Sala Molière in Pozzuoli in Art Garage (Parco Bognar, 21), directed by Nando Paone, the show “Io che ho amato solo Te – Monogamia Familiare” will be performed with Roberto Cardone and Gianluca Cangiano, written by Gianluca Cangiano and directed by Niko Mucci.

The comedy focuses on a very current theme, that is, the possibility in our era of having only one stable and continuous relationship, a comparison between two ways of understanding emotional relationships, within the same family. Two brothers, different in life choices, ways of thinking and personal history, despite having shared the same youth, confront each other during a date in an exclusive club of high society. The show turns out to be a continuous verbal duel of reproaches and attempts at clarification and puts to the test the affection they still feel for each other. Tight dialogues and moments of exasperation form the background to an analysis of the behaviors and ideas of a generation that already feels out of time, that resists ideas and behaviors that do not belong to them but by which they are nevertheless attracted and sucked in.
“Written by four hands during the lockdown with Gianluca Cangiano (also an actor), “Io che ho amato solo te” takes inspiration from the famous song, to create a reflection on the theme clearly stated in the subtitle (Family Monogamy) whether it is possible in our days to be or try to be monogamous, the point of view is male: they are two brothers with opposing views who discuss it animatedly in a circle where Giacomo has summoned Filippo because he needs to talk to him about a problem he is dealing with, after a life dedicated to the normality of a daily routine. Their animated confrontation, full of twists and turns, will lead the audience to confront the protagonists to decide which side to be on”.
