Mattinata memorabile con 350 studenti per il “Free(e)ro Journey” Project edited by Graus Editions in partnership con Radio Punto Nuovo presso il Bellini Theater of Naples.
Yesterday, Wednesday 05 April 2023, in the prestigious setting of the Teatro Bellini in Naples, the first meeting of the project “Viaggio Lib(e)ro” was held, curated by Graus Edizioni and in partnership with Radio Punto Nuovo. Now in its eighth edition and generously welcomed by the management of the prestigious Teatro della famiglia Russo, in the persons of Roberta, Gabriele and Daniele Russo, the project once again made the students protagonists who presented their creations, born following the reading of the chosen books.
In particular, the first meeting saw the participation of 350 students from the following institutes: the “Giuseppe Mazzini” high school, the “Cuoco-Campanella” high school, the “Viale delle Acacie” state first-grade school and the “FS Nitti” high school, the “Nuovo Bianchi” of Naples; the “Quinto Orazio Flacco” classical high school of Portici; the “Giacinto Diano” state first-grade school of Pozzuoli.
The morning opened with the intervention of the journalist Ciro Cacciola, responsible for special projects of Graus Edizioni, of Alfredo Angelici, creative director of the Teatro Bellini, and of the principal Angela Procaccini, creator of the project. The authors present at the first meeting were:
- Attilio D'Arielli, author of Marlin, a Cuban story and The Leopard and the Soul
- Maria Rizzi and Vittorio Verducci, authors of Women's Voices from History
The students elaborated on the texts read, creating short films, Power Points, videos and dynamic choreographies, trying to convey the main themes of the two texts.
It was a morning dedicated to culture, healthy discussion, and dialogue, which gave students, in collaboration with teachers, the opportunity to become protagonists, stimulating their educational path, their creativity, and their critical thinking.
The second meeting of the project “Viaggio Lib(e)ro” will be held on Wednesday 03 May, again at the Teatro Bellini and with the participation of Councillor Lucia Fortini (School – Social Policies – Youth Policies of the Campania Region).
The meetings are held with the moral patronage of the Campania Region and the Municipality of Naples.
