The Carabinieri Operational Support Teams (SOS), made up of personnel also specialized in anti-terrorism interventions, will be employed for the entire week outside the Royal Palace of Caserta and at other structures of cultural, artistic and commercial interest in the city and surrounding areas.
The support teams will support the territorial Arma and other law enforcement agencies, with the aim of intensifying preventive surveillance services. In this first week of November, the Reggia will remain open every day, and on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th admission will be free for the Armed Forces Day (November 4th) and for the first Sunday of the month (November 5th).
A greater influx of tourists is therefore expected, for which the prefect of Caserta Giuseppe Castaldo has also ordered the use of the Support Teams of the Arma.
