Naples. On May 21, the Prefect of Naples, Michele di Bari, as part of the anti-mafia prevention activity, adopted 7 additional interdiction measures against as many companies operating in the environmental services, business consultancy and funeral services sector, having their registered office in the municipalities of Naples and Pomigliano d'Arco.

The companies affected by the prohibitive measures operate in diversified areas, including environmental services, business consultancy and funeral services, often at the center of controversial news stories in Naples. These sectors have been the object of particular attention by the authorities as they are often vulnerable to infiltration by organized crime.

Interdictory Provisions

The measures adopted by the Prefect of Naples, Michele di Bari are a strong and clear signal in the fight against mafia infiltration. The bans aim to prevent the companies involved from operating in sensitive economic environments and potentially subject to illicit conditioning.

The companies involved have their registered offices in the municipalities of Naples and Pomigliano d'Arco. The choice to act in these specific areas highlights the authorities' commitment to carefully monitor local businesses to ensure legality and transparency in economic operations.

Prevention Goals

The main purpose of the anti-mafia prevention activity is to safeguard the integrity of the economic and social fabric, preventing organized crime from taking advantage of infiltration into businesses. Through measures such as those adopted, we try to contain the phenomenon and protect legal economic activities.
