The “Gaetano Vairo Institute of Legal Studies”, after the break imposed by the pandemic, resumes its activity with a conference of great importance that will see the intervention of the Minister of Culture Gennaro Sangiuliano. The event will take place on Monday 17 June at 17.30:XNUMX pm at the Calatia Archaeological Museum.
A Frontier Path between Culture and Justice
The theme of the conference, “Between culture and justice: a dialogue with many voices”, represents an intellectual and practical challenge, aimed at exploring and understanding complex issues such as mercy, the protection of the dignity of the person and social recovery, within the context of Italian justice. These issues are characterized by delays, staff shortages and reforms that have yet to be fully implemented. The debate will feature prominent figures such as Don Tonino Palmese (president of the Polis Foundation and guarantor of prisoners in the municipality of Naples), the magistrate Catello Maresca and the senator Maurizio Gasparri. These guests will offer an intersection of worlds, sensibilities and proposals, in an incessant dialogue.
Moderation and Institutional Greetings
Luigi Ferraiuolo will moderate the event, while Giovanni Vairo will have the task of connecting the past and present of the “Gaetano Vairo Institute of Legal Studies”, projecting it towards the future. Also present will be the mayor Andrea De Filippo and Angela Del Vecchio, president of the Bar Association of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, who will bring institutional greetings.
A Prestigious Headquarters
This is not the first time that the Calatia Archaeological Museum hosts events of great cultural and scientific importance. This time too, the Museum opens its doors to welcome a significant initiative, destined to leave a mark on those who participate and to stimulate a deep reflection on the themes addressed.
