Kylian Mbappé, a world-class football star currently playing for France at Euro 2024, is at the center of a new controversy with his former club, Paris Saint-Germain. As he prepares for his next adventure with Real Madrid, Mbappé has made a €100 million claim against PSG for unpaid wages and bonuses.
The news, reported by L'Equipe, has shaken the football world. The sum in question includes the salaries of April and May, as well as a substantial loyalty bonus for each season spent in Paris, as established in the contract renewed in May 2021.
However, PSG has stated that it does not intend to honor these requests. According to internal sources, the Parisian club has officially informed the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) that it will not pay Mbappé neither salaries, nor bonuses, nor loyalty bonuses, including the one for the month of June, when the player's contract expired.
