Naples. Two Neapolitans arrested after a daring car chase in Barra. Yesterday afternoon, officers from the San Giovanni Barra Police Station of the State Police arrested two Neapolitans, an 18-year-old and a 43-year-old with a criminal record, at the end of a daring car chase.
It all started during a routine territorial control service in via Costantino Grimaldi. The officers noticed two men on board a car who, at the sight of the Police, accelerated to elude the control despite the order to stop.
A chase ensued through the streets of Barra during which the driver of the fleeing car performed dangerous maneuvers, putting the safety of other motorists and pedestrians at risk.
The pursuit It ended in via Marghieri where the police, not without difficulty, managed to block the car and arrest the two occupants.
The two men, an 18-year-old and a 43-year-old with a criminal record, were arrested for the crimes of assault, resisting a public official and damage. The getaway car also had no insurance coverage, no periodic inspection and the driver did not have a driving license.
