In Falciano del Massico, in the province of Caserta, a man accused of molesting a young girl was attacked in the street by a group of youths.
The deputy of Alleanza Verdi Sinistra, Francesco Emilio Borrelli, received the videos of the attack and asked the Carabinieri for clarification.
“According to several sources – it is read in a note by Borrelli – it seems that the man, sitting outside a bar, molested a minor who was passing by. At that point some boys intervened, perhaps friends of the young woman. At first they just argued with the man, who gets up from the table and walks away with a young man.
The man says a few words to the boy and shortly after slaps him very hard, provoking a violent reaction from the other young people,” who attack the alleged stalker with kicks and punches.
“We have received these very strong images – says Borrelli – which we have reported to the police who are investigating. We are waiting for confirmation to be able to express ourselves with certainty, but today violence is unfortunately increasingly the only means of communication in certain situations. Above all, we will need to clarify the issue of harassment, which would be a very serious matter”.
