Special guides for the youngest visitors

Archaeologists, historians, botanists, with a language suitable for such a young audience, will be the special guides for the youngest visitors, who can participate alone or accompanied by their parents. The duration of each thematic itinerary will be approximately 1h 15, starting at 11.00 from Porta Anfiteatro, where the operators will welcome the children and parents who want to participate.

The first date

It begins on Sunday, July 7th in Pompeii with " Life as a Gladiator: Gym, Healthy Food, and Competitions." The tour will take you through Regio II. Starting from the Porta Anfiteatro entrance, the tour will wind between two ancient buildings: the Palestra Grande, a place of physical and intellectual training for young people, and the Amphitheater, the oldest known of the Roman era. Here, over twenty thousand spectators could once watch gladiatorial combat.

The second event of July, again in Pompeii , is on Sunday 21st with

"A stroll along Via dell'Abbondanza, discovering shops, domus , villas, and gardens." A tour of Regio I. A journey along one of the main streets of ancient Pompeii, which connected the Forum area with the Amphitheater. We'll visit the domus to learn about construction techniques, artisan and food workshops, materials, and decorations of some luxurious villas that belonged to patrician families. The group will also depart from Porta Anfiteatro.

Groups of children and adults will be limited to a maximum of 25 people. The cost is always €10 per child. This fee also applies to parents who wish to participate, but who must also have a park entrance ticket or, on free Sundays, the relevant entry pass. Participation is subject to availability.
