“Tereketé” will be available from June 14th, on Time Records / Jesce Sole, in all digital stores: the new, highly anticipated single by Ciccio Merolla, with Clementino and Hellen, is ready to electrify the Italian summer!
Ciccio Merolla, a percussionist and symbol of the Neapolitan music scene, returns to the market exactly one year after the explosion of “Malatìa”, the song that made the Neapolitan musician known to the general public. With his unique style and his original sound, characterized by the percussions that made him famous throughout the world, Merolla is ready to conquer for the second summer in a row his Naples first and then all of Italy, aided by the experience of Clementino, another Neapolitan superstar, and the freshness of the young and talented artist Hellen.
“It is all the heart of the world that wants to sing, because at the basis of all human beings there is the urge to sing and play, each logically in their own way”, comments Ciccio Merolla.
“Tereketé” is a song that combines Merolla’s fusion spirit with a fast pace, the driving energy of the percussions and the appeal of the summer hit, with its catchy and incredibly radio-friendly refrain. The clever construction of the song, the result of Merolla’s incredible musical journey, marries perfectly with the unmistakable style of a successful rapper and freestyler like Clementino, who gives a great interpretation, as well as appearing as co-author. The song is enriched with the splendid artist Hellen.
“Clementino and I have been friends for many years,” Merolla concludes “we have always respected each other. He represents joy, celebration, union and it is precisely for this reason that he is the right artist, he is the first who is part of the heart of the world that wants to sing and that wants to play.”
After conquering the summer of 2023 with “Malatìa” and after the concert event of May 10th in his Naples, Ciccio Merolla is ready for this new, incredible adventure, which will take the artist to the most important Italian summer stages, to make “tutt 'o munno” sing a song that is already a success!
