Naples. The fourteen-year-old accused of the attempted aggravated murder of a twenty-year-old, which occurred in the early hours of July 21 in Naples, is considered a leading figure in an emerging criminal group.

This detail emerged from the investigations conducted by the Carabinieri and the State Police, which led to the arrest of the young man. Yesterday, the preliminary investigations judge validated the arrest, ordering the transfer of the minor to a facility for minors in the city.
Threats to mother via WhatsApp
The mother of the fourteen-year-old, on August 25, had reported him missing after, in the first days of the same month, the boy had taken his things and disappeared. The woman, with several criminal records, had turned to the authorities, worried about her son's growing criminal inclination.
The criminal group that the boy is said to be part of has its base in the “New houses” and is affiliated with the Contini clan, led by a twenty-six year old, in whose home the fourteen year old was found.
There appears to be an ongoing feud involving shootings and injuries between the group in question and their rivals from the Arenaccia-Buvero area of Sant'Antonio Abate, led by a fifty-four year old recently released from prison.
The clan initials tattooed on the hands
Despite their young age, the fourteen-year-old and a sixteen-year-old, considered his accomplice in the attempted murder, reportedly demonstrated their loyalty to the criminal group by tattooing the initials of the mafia family on their hands.
The victim of the attempted murder also provided important information to the Naples Flying Squad. A month after the attack, the 20-year-old identified his attackers during a photo identification, declaring that he had seen them in a photo posted on TikTok, which was later removed.
He recognized without hesitation the young man who had shot him and his accomplice, who that night had gone into action on a stolen scooter, armed with a gun that has not yet been found.
He had fled to Ibiza where he had stabbed a young man in a nightclub
In August, the same fourteen-year-old was allegedly involved in a stabbing in Ibiza, during a fight that broke out in a club on the island. It is not excluded that he arrived on the island with false documents and that he may have also played a significant role in the feud between rival criminal groups.
