By order of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Benevento, the Montesarchio Forestry Command proceeded with the criminal seizure of a large piece of land located in Porcini S. Isidoro, in the municipality of Arpaise, where significant waste dumping occurred, also involving the public administration.
The alleged crimes are of an environmental nature. The report was filed by a citizen, owner of a neighboring land located downstream from the one in question, who conducted chemical analyses on a part of his property. The results highlighted the presence of contaminants and an intense nauseating odor, attributable to an open-air landfill.
Checks are currently underway as part of particularly complex investigations, necessary to delve deeper into the nature of the abandoned waste and the possible criminal consequences of abandonment. The owner of the land is assisted by the lawyer Massimo Viscusi.
