Fifteen adult dogs and four puppies, none of which had a microchip, abandoned in the municipality of Montefredane, in the province of Avellino, were recovered and saved by the forestry police.
The animals, without shelter and exposed to the elements, were all in very poor health, with evident and widespread signs of dermatitis.
