Fifteen adult dogs and four puppies, none of which had a microchip, abandoned in the municipality of Montefredane, in the province of Avellino, were recovered and saved by the forestry police.
The animals, without shelter and exposed to the elements, were all in very poor health, with evident and widespread signs of dermatitis. They were transferred to the municipal kennel of the municipality of Altavilla Irpina where they received initial care from ASL veterinarians and are now awaiting adoption.

It's a bad thing that the dogs were abandoned without microchips, but it's good that the forest rangers saved them. I hope they find families who love them and they won't be left alone anymore.
