On Christmas Eve, Via Roma in Aversa was the scene of tensions when a brawl erupted involving several people during the traditional aperitifs in the historic center. The reasons for the altercation are still unclear, but footage released by journalist Marilena Natale shows a young man throwing a table at a group of people.
Chaos during the celebrations
The afternoon saw a record turnout, with hundreds of people arriving from neighboring towns to celebrate Christmas. However, the violent episode marred the festive atmosphere, turning one of the most anticipated moments of the holidays into an evening of disorder.
Weapons found
Furthermore, yesterday morning the Local Police officers, under the leadership of Commander Stefano Guarino, found two large knives in Piazza Magenta around 9am. The discovery, made during the checks scheduled for Christmas Eve, saw the bladed weapons, hidden near a tree in the square, immediately seized. Investigations are underway to clarify the circumstances of the discovery.

It is a great pity that the celebrations were marred by this violence. We must all work together to prevent similar incidents in the future, so as to ensure a more peaceful atmosphere.
I don't understand how these things can happen during a holiday period. People need to be more responsible and think before acting, especially in crowded places like Via Roma.
The episode that happened in Aversa during Christmas Eve is really worrying. People should enjoy the holidays and not end up in fights. We hope that the authorities will do something to improve security.
