Castellammare. With the beginning of the Christmas holidays, the walking streets of Castellammare of Stabia see a new ally for urban decorum: the Glutton electric vacuum cleaner. This innovative device was introduced by Velia Ambiente to improve cleaning in the main squares of the city center and in the municipal villa, in synergy with the Municipal Administration.
Glutton, thanks to its maneuverability, is perfect for cleaning crowded spaces, effectively sucking up cigarette butts and other small waste that accumulate in the most inaccessible corners. Its silence allows it to be used at any time, making it possible to clean without disturbing the public peace, both day and night, among people. This not only increases the visibility and professionalism of the service, but also stimulates the community's interest in caring for the urban environment.
In addition to Glutton, the expansion plan also includes Ekò electric vehicles. These vehicles, with their fast charging and zero emissions, are used for manual street sweeping and, when necessary, for emptying bins in restricted traffic areas. Thanks to their small size and equipped with a tipping body, the Ekò can operate efficiently even in the narrow alleys of the historic center and in the less accessible hilly areas, ensuring greater safety and cleanliness of the territory.
This upgrade in cleaning services represents a significant step forward for Castellammare di Stabia, demonstrating a concrete commitment to environmental sustainability and community well-being.
