The Cardarelli in Naples confirms itself as a point of reference for Campania and national healthcare. General Manager Antonio d'Amore announced today that more and more doctors, including from regions such as Lombardy, Marche and Tuscany, are choosing to work in the Neapolitan hospital. "Our facility is a jewel in the crown for Italian healthcare," said d'Amore, "and this is the result of constant commitment and significant investments."
Growing numbers and recognitions
The data speaks for itself: in 2024, surgical interventions and hiring increased, and numerous departments were restructured. Furthermore, Cardarelli achieved excellent results in terms of organizational efficiency and timeliness of payments.
An important recognition came directly from the patients, who rewarded the doctors and nurses for the care received. Among the most complex cases treated were neurosurgical, cardiac and liver transplants.
The director general stressed the importance of investing in young doctors and ensuring they have decent working conditions. “We cannot afford to lose the new generations,” d’Amore said, “and for this reason we ask for greater commitment from political decision-makers.”

I agree with what is said in the article, the health situation in Italy is important and I am happy that there are more doctors who come to work at the Cardarelli hospital. Let's hope it continues like this.
