For months, she stalked him, even threatening to kill him if he didn't get back with her. The Rome Prosecutor's Office has therefore requested the indictment of Lucrezia Hailé Selassiè, who calls herself an Ethiopian princess, accused of stalking Manuel Bortuzzo, a Paralympic swimming champion. The story was reported by Il Messaggero.
The two had met during the 2021-2022 edition of Big Brother Vip, where they had started a relationship, which however ended during the reality show. Selassiè, however, would not have accepted the end of the story and would have started to harass Bortuzzo with increasingly aggressive behavior. The swimmer, exasperated, decided to report her. Before the summer, the 26-year-old was subjected to a ban on approaching her and forced to wear an electronic bracelet for stalking.
Now the prosecutor's office has closed the investigation and requested an immediate trial. Selassiè has chosen the abbreviated trial, and the hearing before the judge for the preliminary hearing has been set for March 13. In the indictment, the public prosecutors of Piazzale Clodio underline that the woman would have caused her ex-partner "a state of anxiety and fear, as well as a well-founded fear for his safety, forcing him to change his lifestyle habits, even going so far as to block her and not feeling free to move around peacefully or to start a new relationship."
