Tragedy this morning in the educational farm Farm 9.1, where a breeder 62-year-old man lost his life following a violent attack by a calf.

Some family members found the farmer in critical condition and immediately raised the alarm. The 118 operators arrived promptly on the scene, but despite attempts to resuscitate him, there was nothing that could be done for the 62-year-old.
The accident occurred while the man was alone in the educational farm, a facility that is also regularly visited by school groups for educational visits. Initial medical tests indicate that the cause of death was due to the violent headbutt received by the animal.
The Carabinieri are investigating to clarify the exact dynamics of what happened.
