Yesterday evening, the Naples Police Headquarters intensified checks in the city's nightlife areas, focusing on the Vomero neighborhood: the operation was coordinated by officers from the Vomero, San Giovanni-Barra, Pianura, and Posillipo police stations.
The Guardia di Finanza, the Local Police, the Labour Inspectorate and the ASL NA1 Centro also participated. The checks involved key areas of the Vomero, such as San Martino, via Giordano, via Falcone, via Scarlatti, piazza Medaglie d'Oro and piazza Vanvitelli.
During the operation, 130 people were identified, 20 of whom had a police record, and 45 vehicles were checked. Particular attention was paid to commercial activities: out of 32 businesses checked, the owners received various types of prescriptions. The violations found led to the imposition of fines for a total of 16.720 euros. In addition, 87 kg of food were seized, presumably for issues related to food preservation or safety.
