In execution of the order of the Court of Review of Naples, the Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza has applied a precautionary measure of the obligation to remain at home against a luxury car dealer, accused of fraud and self-laundering.
The investigation, directed by the Prosecutor's Office of Naples North and conducted by the Guardia di Finanza of frattamaggiore, revealed that the suspect had defrauded two customers.
According to investigators, the dealer, by offering to sell a Ferrari 488 Pista model and a Porsche 992 Camera model, had convinced customers to transfer considerable sums into his account, for a total of 330.000 euros, without ever delivering the cars.
Reuse of illicit funds After the alleged fraud, the suspect allegedly used the fraudulently obtained money to buy a Porsche racing car, model GT3 RS, in Germany.
The Court of Appeal, confirmed by the Supreme Court of Cassation, has established for the suspect the obligation to reside in the municipality of residence, following his appeal. The case highlights the importance of surveillance in the luxury car sales sector and the effectiveness of law enforcement operations in combating illicit activities.
