Ambush on the street this late afternoon in Cardito where a criminal from Frattamaggiore was injured.

The shooting occurred on Via Sant'Eufemia. The 39-year-old offender was wounded in the leg by a gunshot. The Carabinieri of the Caivano Company intervened after the report of the shots reached the 112 switchboard.
The man was taken to the Ospedale del Mare and is not in danger of life. Doctors have stabilized him and are now waiting to perform surgery.
