Boscoreale – A very hard blow to organized crime in the heart of the area south of Naples. The Carabinieri of the local station, during a night service of prevention and repression of crimes, discovered a real arsenal in a garage on via Sardoncelli, seizing weapons, explosives and drugs.

The discovery was made almost by chance. The soldiers, on patrol aboard a “gazzella”, noticed the two men inside a garage owned by Pagano.
The nervous behavior of the two aroused the suspicion of the Carabinieri, who decided to proceed with a search. What emerged was incredible: an arsenal that would make your wrists tremble.

Among the seized weapons, a .38 Special caliber Arminius pistol with the serial number erased, found on Acunzo, hidden under his shirt, and a 5mm MP9 submachine gun, with a magazine full of 24 bullets, stand out.
Not only that: the military also found a Walther PPX caliber 9 pistol, a Glock caliber 9 (both with erased serial numbers) and a blank pistol. To complete the loot, 204 bullets of various calibers and two homemade explosive devices, each weighing 140 grams.

But it doesn't end there. The search was also extended to the homes of the two arrested, where the Carabinieri found a Kalashnikov with two full magazines, for a total of 51 rounds. In addition to the weapons, 169 grams of cocaine were seized in the garage and, in the houses, another 10 grams of cocaine and 53 grams of hashish.
An operation that revealed a fully functional arsenal, ready to be used. Carabinieri they are now carrying out ballistic tests to verify whether the weapons were used in bloody crimes or other crimes. Investigations are in fact still ongoing to clarify the exact role of Pagano and Acunzo within local organized crime.
The two, already known to the police, were arrested and are now waiting to face justice. A hard blow to organized crime, but also a warning: the fight against crime does not stop, and the Carabinieri continue to work tirelessly to ensure the safety of the territory.
