Avellino – Run over by the car he was trying to push after breaking down. An 84-year-old from Pago Vallo Lauro, in the province of Avellino, lost his life after ending up under the wheels of the car.

The tragedy was captured by the video surveillance cameras in the area. It was a passerby who raised the alarm. The elderly man was transferred to the hospital in Avellino, but the attempts of the paramedics to save him were in vain.
According to an initial reconstruction by the Carabinieri, the man fell after being hit by the door of the car that was reversing and hit him.
