A varied billboard
The season’s program promises to be varied and high-quality, further consolidating the Teatro Verdi’s reputation as one of Italy’s leading theater institutions. The season includes a mix of opera and ballet performances, with the participation of internationally renowned artists. Wagner’s “Die Walküre” will open the dances in April thanks to the collaboration with the Sofia National Opera, followed by Bellini’s “Norma”. May will feature the ballet “Don Quixote”, while “Rigoletto” will be performed before the summer break.
Collaborations and educational projects
In the fall, “Carmen” will return to the stage in October and, in December, the theater will dedicate space to young talents through a production in collaboration with the Conservatory of Music “G. Martucci” of Salerno. Verdi’s “Nabucco” will close the year. For the entire season, the Teatro Verdi has scheduled 18 shows aimed at young people, underlining its commitment to the diffusion of theatrical culture. These efforts are also supported by the Campania Region and international partners.
