Yesterday afternoon, the State Police arrested a 26-year-old originally from Benin, with a criminal record, for illicit possession of narcotics and, also, reported for receiving stolen goods together with a 49-year-old from Pakistan.
Specifically, the officers of the Police Station v-Mercato, during the territory control service, while passing through via Marvasi, they noticed a man on board a car who was giving something to a subject stopped outside the vehicle, in exchange for money.
The police officers, who promptly intervened to interrupt the criminal process, reached and blocked the two individuals, finding the buyer in possession of 3 cell phones, of which he was unable to provide an explanation regarding the possession, and 425 euros.
Meanwhile, inside the defendant's car, the police found 4 packages of hashish, 5 cell phones, 2 tablets and an electric scooter, which the man was unable to explain as to his possession.

It's amazing how people get into trouble for little money, especially with all the things that happen nowadays. The Police are right to check and intervene, but I wonder if there isn't a better way to do things.
