The captain of a football team represents the noblest and most romantic figure among all the heroes who live in the passion and popular imagination of football lovers. Gianfranco Coppola, a journalist of class and incurable romantic, wanted to celebrate in the book “Capitani per sempre” wonderful leaders without time and age, and therefore unforgettable. He did it in a special way, letting himself be guided by instinct, passion and heart, making use of the splendid contribution, in prose, emotions and talent, of the Great Signatures of Italian journalism, inextricably linked to champions who have made the history of our football.
A fantastic tour of Italy through the pages, starting from Naples, the city of Maradona, which with its great captain Antonio Juliano inspired Gianfranco Coppola. It continues, up and down the boot, in a beautiful collection of stories of captains, emotions and memories, without a real order of importance, but following the impulses of the heart.
A journey, also in images, made more suggestive by an exceptional partner, Panini, which with its collectible stickers has embellished and made the volume unique. The patronage of the Italian Footballers' Association and the solidarity commitment with Casa di Tonia and the Archbishop Emeritus of Naples, Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe, seal the value of an idea that has become a book and therefore a testimony of the immense passion of those who have lived and live for our football. On this occasion, the former captain of the Napoli team, Giuseppe Bruscolotti, and Marco Lobasso, professional journalist and publisher of the LeVarie brand, will also be present.

One autumn evening, Mr. Palomar emerges from his book, published in 1983 by Italo Calvino, and decides to take a short trip to Turin for no apparent reason. He returns to the Piedmontese city where he lived as a young man for about twenty years, and meets another character, Marcovaldo, who inhabited it for the period of twenty stories, written by Calvino, between 52 and 63. The two meet again and begin to retrace their lives, their shared experiences, the “difficult idylls” of the 51s, walking through the streets of today’s Turin. They confide in each other experiences, emotions, sometimes with some veiled nostalgia, and characters appear who have overcome every limit or condition of time and space. And so XNUMX short stories of encounters, dialogues, walks are born.

The article is very interesting and highlights the beauty of literature and music, especially when talking about artists like Pino Daniele. I hope the events are well organized and that there is good participation.
I agree with Paolo, culture is important for all of us. These events should be supported by everyone, because they help unite people through the love of books and music.
It's a pleasure to see initiatives like this that celebrate culture. I think we should all participate in supporting local authors and musicians, so we can pass on our love for culture.
