In Pozzuoli, the Carabinieri of the local company's mobile radio section put the handcuffs on Fabio Crescenzo, a 43-year-old Neapolitan with a criminal record, accused of attempted robbery.
The intervention of the police was triggered in via Sotto il Monte 7, following a report of a robbery at a pharmacy.
According to the reconstruction, shortly before the arrest, the man entered the premises and threatened an employee, demanding the handover of the daily takings. Not satisfied, he also hit the worker with a slapor, but the pharmacist, unable to access the self-service cash register, managed to dissuade the criminal, sending him fleeing.

The escape, however, did not last long: the police, who promptly intervened, stopped the 43-year-old a few steps away from the scene of the crime.
Crescenzo, already known to the authorities, was transferred to the Poggioreale prison, where he remains at the disposal of the judicial authorities awaiting decisions on his case.

it's a very sad story, you can never think that people get to do such bad things. The carabinieri did a good job intervening quickly, but we hope that the man understands his mistakes and changes his life.
