Greek's tower. Robberies and threats with a knife: a 21-year-old arrested. It happened in Greek's tower where the Carabinieri of the Capoluogo station executed an order applying the precautionary measure of custody in prison, issued by the investigating judge of the Torre Annunziata court at the request of the Oplontina prosecutor's office, against the young man (whose name was not provided): he is accused of extortion, kidnapping, attempted aggravated theft and aggravated robbery.
The twenty-one-year-old is accused of several incidents: in March-April 2019, he allegedly threatened another young man with a knife to accompany him as a passenger on his moped, and subsequently forced another young man to transport him on his moped along another route.
In February 2021, the twenty-one-year-old was caught rummaging through the glove compartment of a car parked on a public street in Torre Annunziata, in an attempt to steal the objects stored there. Last August, he was allegedly responsible for a robbery against two minors, from whom, pretending to be armed with a knife, he stole a sum of money. After the formal procedures, the young man was taken to the Poggioreale prison in Naples at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
