On Thursday evening the police officers of the police station San Carlo Arena, during the territorial control service, on the orders of the Operations Centre, they intervened in vico Sant' Eframo Vecchio following a report from a man who had located the position of his stolen scooter, shortly before, in vico delle Nocelle.
The operators, having arrived on site, ascertained that the motorcycle was in a garage and, with the support of Fire Brigade personnel, entered the premises where they found the reported vehicle, partially dismantled and missing some mechanical parts, as well as significant pieces of motorcycles of other makes and models.
Furthermore, the police found in the bathroom of the same place a blank pistol cal. 8 without a red cap wrapped in some napkins, a blank pistol cal. 8 without a red cap with 4 cartridges, 5 cartridges cal. 7,65 and a manual signaling badge bearing the logo "Ministry of Defense-Carabinieri".
Again, the officers, in an adjacent garage used by a 49-year-old Neapolitan, found several mechanical parts of motorcycles and several
pieces that matched those found in the other deposit whose provenance the man was unable to explain.
Finally, the operators, with the support of Enel technical personnel, verified that both electricity meters were illegally connected to the public grid.
The 49-year-old, a Neapolitan with a criminal record, was reported for illegal possession of weapons, theft, possession of counterfeit distinctive signs and receiving stolen goods.
