The councilor of the Municipality of Benevento Annalisa Tomaciello, 47 years old, and the entrepreneur Andrea Taurino, 50 years old, originally from Bari and operating in Valtellina where he has lived for years, have been reached by the precautionary measure of the obligation to remain at home.
They are being investigated in an investigation for an alleged fraud of over 100 thousand euros conducted by the Sondrio Flying Squad and coordinated by the local Prosecutor's Office directed by Piero Basilone.
The investigating judge of the Court of Sondrio, Fabio Giorgi, signed the provision against both. The victim of the maxi-fraud, according to the investigators' investigations, would have been a company based in Germany specialized in the production of anti-hygienic tests against Covid 19.
The businessman Taurino and the public administrator from Campania allegedly gave the company - according to the accusations - an advance of 2.500 euros, but then at the time of payment they produced a copy of a fake bank transfer.
From Germany the goods arrived in Valtellina to be stored in a warehouse in Castione (Sondrio), probably the same one that a few weeks ago was destroyed by arson which led to the arrest, with a lightning investigation by the Carabinieri of Sondrio, of the perpetrators of the fire, both criminals living in Milan.
Now they are looking for the instigator of that fire that completely destroyed the warehouse of which Taurino, for a couple of years, was the tenant with his company of products, including sanitary products. "Taurino in the fire affair is the victim", explained his lawyer Francesco Romualdi.
