Last night, the Carabinieri of the Pozzuoli company conducted two separate anti-drug operations, culminating in the arrest of two people.
In the first operation, carried out right at Pozzuoli, the soldiers of the local station raided the home of a 41-year-old man, already known to the police.
The man, taken by surprise by the arrival of the carabinieri, did not have the opportunity to attempt any evasive move. The subsequent house search led to the discovery and seizure of 112 grams of marijuana, already divided into doses ready for sale.
In the same period of time, at Bedroom, the Carabinieri of the local Tenenza monitored the activity of Pasquale Zannella, 47 years old, also known to the police. The soldiers observed him while he was walking along via Marie Curie, near his home. In a few moments, a buyer approached.

A knowing look, a few words, and the exchange took place: enough for the Carabinieri to intervene and block both. In the hands of the buyer, subsequently reported to the Prefecture, 9 grams of hashish were found.
The Carabinieri then decided to search Zannella's home, where two blocks of hashish were found and seized, with a total weight of 123 grams. During the search, a precision scale and various materials used to package the drug were also found and seized.
Both arrested are currently awaiting trial.
