Concert-event at the Palapartenope in Naples on December 27th.
The night of the tamarri is back at the Palapartenope. After last year's success with the sold out recorded in advance sales and the successful summer tour with over 100 dates, Tony Tammaro announces by popular demand the new edition of the tamarro happening par excellence. Wednesday 27 December 2023 at 21 pm "La Grande Notte dei Tamarri 2" will take place, the concert-event produced by Azzurra Spettacoli and Veragency that celebrates the stainless myth of the Neapolitan satirical singer-songwriter. A large gathering, a sort of annual party that becomes involuntary group therapy.
On the stage of the Palapartenope, accompanied by a seven-piece band, Tony Tammaro will perform a large part of his extensive repertoire, including timeless hits such as “Patrizia”, “'o Trerrote”, “Rock dei Tamarri” and “Supersantos”, with the addition of surprise guests, visuals and new video content. Several songs will be rearranged from scratch in a techno-house style and will preview the new album of unreleased songs, plus greatest hits, which will be released in spring. The album should be titled “Music for braciate” with the subtitle: “Tony Tammaro’s first time with the tunz”.
Like last year, since it is a tamarro show, this time too the Palapartenope will be divided into 6 ad hoc sectors. The armchairs will be part of the CT sector (chiattilli), while the other sectors will be renamed: GAL (people at level), TA (tamarri arricchiti), MEF (muort'e famm), VPP (vulenn putenn pavann) and CF (cafonazzi) for the numbered grandstand. An equal distribution of the fauna that will populate the Fuorigrotta theater on December 27th.
Tickets for “La Grande Notte dei Tamarri 2” – which range from 23 to 40 euros – are available at the main regional outlets and on the Go2 and Ticketone circuits.
After the show at the Palapartenope in Naples, this winter, Tony Tammaro will be touring Europe to bring his surreal songs and music to all the inhabitants of Campania living abroad.
With over 2500 concerts, eight albums and a collection to his credit, Tony Tammaro is now a cult artist. Since 1990, the diffusion of his music has been autonomous, anomalous and constantly growing, thanks above all to the initial word of mouth, the “pezzotte” copies and the support of the web.
Three-time winner of the Italian Festival of Demenziale Music, during his long career he has performed live in all 550 municipalities of Campania.
He has held conferences and meetings at the universities of Naples, Capua and Salerno. He created the television program “Tamarradio”, one of the greatest audience phenomena of local Italian television broadcasting.
As a writer he published “Io Tony Tammaro”, in collaboration with Ignazio Senatore, for Graus editions. As an actor he starred in the films “La parrucchiera”, directed by Stefano Incerti and “Achille Tarallo” directed by Antonio Capuano. His song “La Vita” received a nomination for the Nastri d'Argento, in the category of best original song.
