There are a total of 38 suspects whose names appear in the more than 500 pages of the precautionary order signed by the investigating judge Carla Sarno of the Court of Naples, thanks to which a push was given to the clans that controlled the illicit business in the Salicelle district of Afragola and in the nearby municipality of Casoria.

The drug business brought in hundreds of thousands of euros a year to the gang and naturally with the arrests and detentions it had caused friction. So much so that one of the bosses, Nicola Luongo, had given the order to kill the young rival Giuseppe Sasso known as o' ninnillo.
From prison, Luongo gave instructions on the extortions to be carried out on all the entrepreneurs and traders in the area and organised economic assistance for all the families of the prisoners.
All this emerges from the investigations of the Carabinieri and the Police (Flying Squad) of Naples. After being arrested, in fact, both Nicola Luongo and Giuseppe Sasso, both believed to be the leaders of the group, had a cell phone at their disposal with which they gave instructions to Vittorio Parziale from their cell.
This, as documented by investigators, happened until the end of October 2020. Since November 2020, however, the direction of the clan passed into the hands of Giuseppe Sasso (who had remained detained until June of the same year) who carried out the orders (always given from prison, by Mariano and Aniello Barbato).

The recipients of the precautionary measures were all arrested in Napoli except one who was tracked down by the Flying Squad in Arezzo.
At the moment one of the suspects is missing and is wanted. Recently other entrepreneurs in that area of Naples have filed complaints regarding extortion requests suffered between February and March 2023 and the judicial police have presented an integration to the investigators of the Dda of Naples.
The Camorra group was organized into batteries that had specific tasks (drugs, robberies, extortion). The illicit activities investigated concern the period between October 2018 and the end of September 2022.
