On Sunday morning, the Rotonda Nazario Sauro in Naples suddenly transformed into a unique film set, attracting a large crowd, including many children. Porn star Valentina Nappi was the protagonist of some filming and photoshoots, with the name of a well-known adult site prominently displayed.
The event caused a stir not only for the content of the footage, but also for the prolonged occupation of the public space without apparent authorization and the use of a motorboat docked illegally at the roundabout, simulating an unloading operation of contraband cigarettes.
The incident sparked harsh reactions from local authorities. Francesco Emilio Borrelli, MP, and Lorenzo Pascucci, councilor of Municipality I of Europa Verde, expressed their dismay at the episode. "Reality has now surpassed imagination. It is unacceptable that anyone can occupy spaces in the city without authorization, perhaps renting them illegally to third parties", they declared.
Borrelli and Pascucci asked for clarification from the competent authorities, including the Port Authority and the State Property Agency, regarding the regularity of the filming. “We have documentation that clearly shows the illegal occupation of public land, with illegal moorers clearly visible in the images provided by those present. We want to know if all the necessary authorizations were obtained or if, like the mooring itself, these shots were also taken without any permission.”
The authorities also complain about the inability to dismantle the illegal mooring, managed for years by the same people, despite the complaints and interventions of the Coast Guard and the Guardia di Finanza. “It is unacceptable that this mooring continues to exist. How is it possible that no one intervened during the filming to verify the legality of the situation?”, they added.
