EDOARDO BENNATO: Italian musician and singer-songwriter from Bagnoli, a suburb of Naples. After a musical experience in London, he began performing as a one-man-band playing simultaneously the guitar, the kazoo and the pedal drum, producing his own original musical trend directly influenced by the great names of blues and rock – such as Neil Sedaka, Paul Anka, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, Ray Charles and Elvis Presley – and contaminated by accents typical of Mediterranean music.
His debut album is Non farsi caduta le braccia, released in 1973. In 1977 with the album Burattino senza fili he became the first Italian artist to make video clips and the first Italian singer to fill, in 1980, 15 consecutive stadiums in the space of a month with the organizational help of his friends from the Bagnoli courtyard, who are still following him on this Rock Summer Tour 2024. For the record, we remember the 45 thousand paying spectators at the Comunale in Turin, the 45 thousand paying spectators at the San Paolo in Naples, the 35 thousand paying spectators at the Marassi in Genoa, and then again the Udine Stadium (25 thousand paying spectators), Massa Carrara (20 thousand paying spectators), the Ancona Stadium, the Pescara Stadium, etc. etc. until reaching the 80 thousand spectators in the famous San Siro stadium in Milan; an event that will lead him to cross the Italian borders with his first European tour.

In 2007 he signed the soundtrack of the theatrical musical Peter Pan in the Italian version; an incredible success with the public and critics that returned to the stage in the 2023/2024 theatrical season.
Today, with 28 albums under his belt, his creative streak is still in full swing. In 2020, his latest album Non c'è was released: eight unreleased songs and fourteen repertoire songs, which have made Edoardo Bennato one of the greatest artists of our music.
